This brunch is next to the Limmat River. There are many seats outside (not photographed). Sitting in the first row on the river bank has a great view 👍🏻
The counter is very small, which makes people curious about where the meals are prepared. Later, I discovered that the counter is only responsible for preparing drinks and serving meals. The basement is their real kitchen, and there are no elevators or conveyor belts coming up from the basement. , all the waiters carry plates of food up and down, it’s very hard 😂 (Why not install an elevator? It’s too tiring)
We went in when the store opened that day, so there was no one there. After about half an hour, the whole store was full, and the business was very good.
Although the space inside the store is not large, it is very elegant and has an artistic literary style. There are also many photos and graffiti on the walls.
There are flowers on every seat. Seeing the flowers makes me feel inexplicably good~
When we went there, there were only menu choices during the breakfast period. After noon, there were more meal choices. The meals did not come with drinks, so you had to order them separately (ps. When the waiter came, he was surprised by his appearance. This store’s The male shop assistants are all super handsome, they are stylish, sunny, or artists. I ordered iced coffee (6.5CHF) and hot chocolate (6.8CHF). Both drinks had heart-shaped shortbreads next to them. The hot chocolate was super delicious. I don’t know why there was a little bit of alcohol in it. Fragrant, and sprinkled with chocolate shavings on top, it tastes even richer. Highly recommended👍🏻
Iced coffee is actually an iced latte, not black coffee, but it’s also very smooth and delicious.
French sandwich salad croque-monsieur with salad (24CHF)
It's two slices of European-style bread sandwiched between ham and cheese white sauce. It's also seasoned with mustard seeds and air-dried tomatoes. It's very flavorful. The air-dried tomatoes taste super fragrant. I love it. It's baked with a thick layer of cheese on top. The salad next to it is in oil and vinegar sauce, which is delicious
Full breakfast (26CHF). I didn’t quite understand what the contents were just by looking at the menu. I wanted to order something to try, but it turned out to be such a big portion! The bread is all freshly baked. The outer layer of the croissant is very thin and crispy, and the inside is soft and slightly chewy. In addition to the croissant, there are also two different kinds of bread, which are a bit like French bread with the three sauces on the side. The ingredients (jam, honey, cream) are also crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very delicious. Because the outer layer is too hard and crispy, it may scratch the roof of your mouth🤣
This plate of cheese was an eye-opener for us. You may not be able to tell from the photos. Each piece of cheese is very large and full of sincerity. It tastes great when paired with ham or sausage. The grapes and walnuts are the finishing touch. The original milky taste has a crisp and refreshing taste, which goes well with it, but this breakfast set is really too big! And it was a bit difficult for us to eat so much cheese at one time. In the end, we packed up the remaining two pieces of cheese and took them home.
I feel very satisfied after eating at this brunch restaurant.
