Singapore’s chilli crab is very famous and it’s a must-eat food!! And there are many restaurants to choose from. Today I had Dragon Seafood Mellben Signature in Tanjong Pagar. I heard that even the locals like it. Recommended

There are indoor and outdoor tables. Although there are many tables, there are also many people on holiday evenings (and many of them are locals). It is recommended to make a reservation online first (you can make a reservation on Google Maps). If you don't make a reservation, you will have to wait for about half an hour.
There are many ways to prepare the main crab, and you can also add different side dishes for a fee, such as rice, rice noodles, fried steamed buns...etc.

Using the weighted price list, the clerk asked us if crabs of about 1 kilogram were OK when ordering. I had no idea so I said yes. It turned out that 1 kilogram is the most common (small).
The store clerk will directly deliver tableware, side dishes and wet wipes, but side dishes and wet wipes are chargeable. You can tell the store directly that there is no need. A pack of wet wipes costs 0.4 Singapore dollars, about NT$10, which is not cheap (petty bourgeoisie) Don’t want to pay🤣), although there is a toilet where you can wash your hands, you really need toilet paper when eating, so it is recommended to bring your own
Oatmeal shrimp small portion (30 SGD)
There are 6 small portions, and they are covered with plenty of oats. They are crunchy and sweet, and have a little milky taste from oats. I love Singapore’s oatmeal shrimps.

The crab has been roughly broken down for you. Although it is called chili crab, it actually tastes more like tomato scrambled eggs with spicy additions. It is not very spicy and has a sweet and spicy taste.

Look how fat and thick the meat inside this big claw is! The crab meat is very sweet, a bit like the sweetness of scallops, and the chewy meat has a similar texture to the silk. It’s delicious!!👍🏻
Even the joints of the crab legs are full of crab paste, and it has a super fresh and sweet taste, which is awesome~~
Except for the big claws, even the other slender legs are full of meat, and there will be no gaps at all. Later, when I saw the bill, I realized that our crab actually weighed 0.9 kilograms, which is the smallest weight, but it is enough for two people. Satisfied 🥰
Although this restaurant is not as well-known as JUMBO, and its rating on Google map is only 3.9 stars (maybe because the decoration is relatively simple?), it is really delicious!! So fresh and delicious!! (It’s important to keep talking about it) You must come and eat, highly recommended!!!👍🏻👍🏻
