This restaurant is called WONG KITCKEN, opposite the Discovery Mall inside KUTA, on a busy and busy street. The boss is a Chinese, he can speak Chinese, he is friendly, and the shop assistants are also very nice.

There are relatively few tables in the indoor area, but it happened to have just rained when we went there. It was quite cool. All the guests chose to sit outside, but I don’t know if it was because of the rain. There were a lot of mosquitoes outside, and many of them were visited by the clerk. Come and help us light mosquito coils 😂 It’s a bit painful to eat

The menu is in English + pictures. In addition to Indonesian cuisine, this restaurant also has a lot of common dishes from various countries, such as burgers, French fries... and many special dishes. There are so many choices. We all ordered them randomly that day and shared them together.

The lamps on the table are made of coconut shells, which are beautiful and unique.

I just happened to come across an event that day where they bought three Bintang beers and got one free, which was great!

Sichuan style green beans SZECHUAN GREEN BEANS (75,000 IDR)

Sichuan style pork stir-fried green beans, the seasoning is delicious and has a slightly spicy taste, not too spicy, there is a lot of pork, and it is very sincere. You can actually order Sichuan cuisine here, you really have everything XD

SALTED EGG SHRIMP (85,000 IDR)

I love salted eggs, but I have never had fried shrimps with salted eggs. I ordered it immediately when I saw it. It’s really full of salted egg flavor and goes very well with fried shrimp! Tasty but a bit oily, eat it while it's hot

INDONESIAN FRIED RICE (85,000 IDR)

Fried rice is a very Indonesian seasoning. In addition to fried rice, it also comes with pickled melon, fried eggs, shrimp cakes, fried chicken, oats, and chicken skewers. It is a super rich plate. If you come to eat alone, I recommend ordering this. Everything can be eaten. Eat it🤣

MIX GRILLE SEAFOOD BASKET (235,000 IDR)

This grilled fish is one of the more expensive dishes. A portion costs about NT$500. It includes a whole fish (there are two kinds of fish to choose from), two shrimps, a squid, four clams, a plate of water spinach, and Two kinds of dipping sauces. The fish was grilled well, and it was moist inside. The squid was my favorite among them, and it was very fresh. The shrimps were grilled too dry, and I didn’t want to eat them just by looking at them. Overall, it tasted good, but it was a bit too strong. , overshadowing the freshness of the seafood, but I didn’t have diarrhea after finishing the plate of seafood and went back to the hotel, which should be considered pretty good haha

INDONESIAN CHICKEN SATAY (80,000 IDR)

The satay chicken skewers are delicious ~ look at how thick the peanut sauce is on the side! But the shrimp cakes attached here are not delicious. They are just like the shrimp cakes attached to some desks in Taiwan. They are completely tasteless and just crispy. It is recommended to order them a la carte. Rice and shrimp cakes are a bit redundant.

THAI PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE (80,000 IDR)

The taste is very different from traditional Indonesian fried rice. This one has a lower sense of soy sauce and contains cashews and pineapples. The taste is more refreshing and rich, and it tastes very layered.

THAI FRIED CHICKEN WING (55,000 IDR)

The fried chicken is well-fried, with a thin and crispy outside and gravy inside. It tastes a bit like McDonald's. The dipping sauce on the side is slightly spicy, I think it doesn’t go well with it, it’s better to eat alone~

BBQ pork rib (125,000 IDR)

I was super surprised to get pork ribs here! Because Indonesia is a Muslim country, there is basically no pork option in ordinary restaurants. It must be because the owner is Chinese, and the grilled meat is quite delicious. What a surprise!

The overall taste is very rich. You can eat dishes from all over the world, and the presentation is also very good. There is no monotonous feeling that they all taste the same, and the waiter is really super friendly! At the end of the meal, the boss came out and asked us if it tasted good. The only small drawback is that the dining table and toilet are a bit dirty, and there are mosquitoes~~🦟If you want to eat, you can consider sitting indoors
