This Indian restaurant is quite famous in the local area. It is right next to Alor Street Food Court. You can go shopping after eating.
The waiters inside are all Indians, and I thought it would be good even before I ate it XD
The business is pretty good, there are a lot of tables, and crowds of people come in one after another during dining time (and there are many Taiwanese)
The environment inside is okay, but it's a bit stuffy without the air conditioning, so it's cooler if you sit outside.
Each table has a QR code that can be scanned to order food, but I think that although the linked pages are all in English, they are almost all in Malaysian English, and there are no pictures, which is quite difficult to understand. It is better to just look at the paper menu and order from the waiter. easier
Iced milk tea teh ais (3.2 MYR) and mango lassi (9 MYR)
Milk tea is a Southeast Asian flavor with a strong tea flavor. It is delicious. Lassi is a specialty drink of Indian cuisine. It is a bit like diluted yogurt, sour and sweet.
Coconut juice coconut (6 MYR)
The freshly killed coconuts are super refreshing. Such a big one only costs NT$40. You can also scrape the coconut meat inside to eat it, which is great.
Garlic cheese cake + sauce roti-NIC + cheese garlic naan (9.5 MYR)
The pesto cheese naan is delicious, the garlic flavor is very strong, and the cake has a strong flavor. The green mint-flavored sauce on the side is a little spicy. The other is curry sauce, which seems to have mashed potatoes in it. Both are very fragrant and suitable for dipping into pancakes.
Spicy chicken curry kadai chicken+roti canai (24 MYR)
Kadai is stewed with tomatoes and various spices. It looks red and spicy, but in fact it tastes sweet and sour, a little milky, and only slightly spicy. It goes well with rice but is a bit salty. It comes with roti canai cakes and Naan is different. It tastes more like a pancake. The portion is too small and not enough to match XD
Banana nutella pancake roti pisang nutella (7 MYR)
When I ordered it, I thought it would be like the Thai banana cake, but the cake here has a strong texture and is not oily. It is different from the oily and crispy cake in Thailand. It is delicious and can be regarded as a healthier and less burdensome banana. Pancakes XD
Mee groeng seafood (13 MYR)
The fried noodles are thick noodles with a little alkaline ammonia flavor. They feel boring, but the shrimps are quite sweet.
Lamb fried rice nasi goreng lamb telur mata(20 MYR)
The mutton is chopped very finely and doesn't taste spicy, but it's also plain.
Crispy tart cake roti-tisu(10 MYR)
Here comes the highlight!! This crispy tart pancake is the signature of this restaurant, almost every table has one, super tall~ The pole itself is crispy, a bit like a Mexican chipotle, with powdered sugar sprinkled on the inside and condensed milk on the outside , very mouth-watering, and will keep eating for no reason.
I feel that all kinds of cakes in this restaurant are very delicious. In comparison, the rice and noodles are relatively ordinary. The point is that Indian food here is super cheap. A simple meal in an Indian restaurant in Taiwan costs 400 or 500 yuan. There is no difference here. Half price, authentic, recommended to everyone~
