This Soup stock Tokyo has branches all over Japan. It specializes in thick soup and curry. It is a very popular store among Japanese girls.
Today I went to the branch B1 of Daido Life Sapporo Building in Hokkaido.
The restaurant is very Japanese-style, simple, bright and well-designed. After you come in, find a seat and then order.
There are a total of three set meals to choose from (A: two cups of soup, B: one soup and one curry, C: simple soup). You can choose from different flavors of soup and curry, and then choose the staple food (you can choose rice or bread). Then choose whether to add more drinks
There is ice water available for self-service
I chose B: One soup and one curry set meal (1060 yen)
Lobster soup + 7 kinds of vegetable curry
The lobster soup is super rich!! It’s full of shrimp flavor without being greasy. It’s super delicious and very hot. Highly recommended!! As for the curry, surprisingly it’s not Japanese sweet apple curry, but has a strong spice flavor. The Nanyang flavor is a little spicy, and the vegetables inside are so soft that they are very delicious!!
The store also sells its own curry buns and thick soup buns. There are more varieties than those sold in the store, and the packaging is very cute. I really want to take them all back to Taiwan~
Originally I didn’t have high expectations for this restaurant, but the lobster soup was really amazing. The portion of the whole set meal was a bit small, but they were all delicious. I recommend everyone to give it a try!!
