This Kaneko Hannosuke has many branches all over the world, including many in Taiwan, but the Japanese one looks particularly high-end for some reason. I just want to eat it.
There are many people lining up during dinner time, and almost all of them are Japanese
There is free tea to drink while waiting in line
When queuing up, you can look at the menu first. Unlike Taiwan, there are only four set meals here, so there is no barrier to choice🤣
After waiting for about 15-20 minutes, I finally got in. There are hangers and storage baskets nearby for use.
In Taiwan, there are separate dining tables and chairs, but here the seats are like teppanyaki, surrounding the bar seats in the open kitchen. Although this type of seating is used, there is no strong smell of oil smoke.
It comes with side dishes, radish puree dipping sauce and cutlery. The cutlery is a strainer. Here, the chef fry it freshly and put it directly in front of the guests, so you can eat the most perfect tempura.
There are three kinds of side dishes, pickled melon, yuzu spicy squid, and mentaiko sauerkraut.
All three kinds are delicious, especially the pickled melon is very refreshing and relieves greasiness.
Also comes with sugar-free black bean tea
We ordered two set meals, "Bamboo" and "Special", both of which come with miso soup and rice. The miso soup is super hot!!
The chef’s freshly fried tempura is here!! It’s hot!
"Bamboo" includes 4 shrimps, flower branches, chicken, pumpkin, maitake mushrooms, green peppers, and eggs.
The "special" items include prawns, eels, shrimps, squid, chicken, eggplant, maitake mushrooms, green peppers, and eggs. (The master will do it in batches, so not everything in the photo~)
The flower branches are very tender, and you can see that they are still very juicy inside!
I’ve never had eel tempura before, it’s quite special and tastes like fresh fish, but I still prefer the seasoning of eel rice.
The most amazing thing this time is the fried chicken. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is not seasoned like ordinary Tang Yang chicken. Although it is original, there is perilla in it. The refreshing combination is unexpectedly delicious~
A veritable fried egg!! Crispy on the outside and hot spring inside, the fried eggs are very powerful and delicious with soy sauce
I can’t understand the bill🤣The overall taste is very refreshing tempura, and when I looked at the menu, I was worried that I wouldn’t be full, but after eating it slowly one by one, the portion is actually quite sufficient! Although there are also branches in Taiwan, it is still very different. Experience~
