Most of the bak kut teh in Singapore tastes like white pepper, but this one belongs to the traditional Chinese medicine flavor in Malaysia. If you don’t like the stimulating taste of pepper, you can try this one

He is on the first floor of the BUGIS+ department store, you can see it from the outside, there are quite a lot of people during meal times, but there is no need to wait

In the department store, the environment is clean and tidy. It was raining heavily outside that day, and many restaurants were hot and humid, which was very uncomfortable. This dining environment is great 👍🏻

Each table will prepare a caster, and I think the biggest advantage of this restaurant is that it has a caster! Ordinary Bak Kut Teh is served in a bowl. The more you eat, the colder it gets. Like I eat slowly, this is like a small hot pot for me. You can eat slowly and the soup is always very hot, too. Happy ☺️

The sauces on the table include general soy sauce and Bak Kut Teh’s unique dark soy sauce, which is thicker and a bit like soy sauce paste, suitable for dipping meat

Each table has an IPAD, which is very advanced, but they are all in Singaporean English, which is really hard to understand XD

The classic Bak Kut Teh set, the soup base is the same, there are many kinds of meat to choose from, and you can also choose a la carte or a set meal. Today I ordered the high-quality ribs Bak Kut Teh set

There are also set meals for two, which include pork belly, pork cartilage and pork belly, which are more diverse, and the side dishes seem to be more abundant

There are other cooking methods, which are a bit like stir-fried vegetables in a hot fry shop. If you feel that there are many people coming to eat, you can order a pot of Bak Kut Teh each, and then order several kinds of stir-fried vegetables to eat.

Because I really like to eat fried dough sticks, I ordered a side of fried dough sticks ($2). I completely forgot that the set meal already came with fried dough sticks😳 and the amount I ordered was a lot. I was dumbfounded...haha, I like the crispy fried dough sticks the most when I throw them into the soup, they are semi-crisp. Pick it up when it's semi-soft, absorbing the full soup and giving it a crunchy texture~~ It's delicious

Premium Pork Rib Bak Kut Teh Set ($18.9)

The set meal comes with fried dough sticks, bean sprouts, a bowl of white rice and a cup of tea. The soup contains ribs, bean skins, and enoki mushrooms. There are not many ingredients, but this way you can enjoy the purest taste of the soup made with Chinese medicinal materials~

The soup has a strong flavor of Chinese medicine, but it has a light fragrance when you drink it. The aftertaste is sweet and sweet like Chinese medicine. It is a delicious and not burdensome soup. The ribs are tender and easy to bite, and it takes no effort at all. The tofu skin unexpectedly needs to be cooked. It’s also delicious when cooked for a long time~ But this restaurant can only refill the soup for free once. The waiter will also remind you that there is only one chance. If you are a soup lover, remember to drink until there is a little bit left. After all, a set meal is 18.9, which is equivalent to NT$430. The portion is actually not much and it is not cheap. You must drink more soup to make it worthwhile (Obasan is haunted)👵🏻This restaurant is delicious but the CP value is not high. There is another more recommendedXinxing Claypot Bak Kut Teh (click here to read the article), delicious and cheap, you can try it
