This Bak Kut Teh restaurant is quite famous in the EAST COAST area, and it is recommended by locals.

We arrived at around 7pm, and there was a red dragon hanging at the door, but there was actually no queue, so we were immediately assigned seats.

In addition to Bak Kut Teh, the menu surprisingly has a lot of choices - even oatmeal and shrimp! so happy

The store has simple tables and chairs, and almost all of them are locals. It should be a great store~

Comprehensive Bak Kut Teh (Small Portion) Special BAK KOOT TEH ($10 SGD)

Bak Ku Teh is Taiwanese after all🤣This Bak Kut Teh is divided into regular and comprehensive. The price of both is the same. The difference is that the regular Bak Ku Teh only contains 4 pork ribs and no other ingredients. The combination is 2 ribs plus some corn shoots, pork belly, and pork liver. I personally recommend ordering the average one, because the other ingredients are not very exciting, but the ribs themselves are very tender and delicious ~ the soup is also sweet and delicious, with a touch of Chinese medicine (I don’t know if this restaurant can refill the soup for free) , and you have to order extra rice, which is one Singapore dollar per bowl.

YOU TIAO ($2.5 SGD)

The fried dough sticks that were added a little were not very crispy. Singapore doesn’t seem to pursue crispy fried dough sticks? The fried dough sticks at a few restaurants I've been to are all soft, but they're still acceptable when soaked in soup.

Stir-fried water spinach (small portion) SAMBAL KANG KONG ($9 SGD)

Just fried water spinach

Cereal Prawns (Small Portion) CEREAL PRAWNS ($16 SGD)

I'm really happy that there are oatmeal shrimps in the Bak Kut Teh restaurant. There are about 6-8 in the small portion. The oatmeal shrimps are really a unique dish in Singapore. The sweet oatmeal becomes crispy and crunchy after being fried. Eat it with shrimps, it’s super delicious~👍🏻 (Who invented this dish~ It’s amazing!)

THAI STYLE TOFU (Small portion) THAI STYLE TOFU ($6 SGD)

Seeing that many people have it on the table, I followed the trend and ordered it 😆 Very solid tofu, topped with Thai chutney and cucumber shreds, it is quite a special combination

For me, there are a lot of Bak Kut Teh restaurants in Singapore. Most of them are based on Bak Kut Teh. At most, you can order some side dishes. The biggest advantage of this restaurant is that there are many large dishes to order, which are relatively rich. It is recommended for a group. When friends come over, just order small bowls, and then order a few dishes to share~

After eating, go to the ice cream shop next door to renew the stall XD → Singapore Food Notes* Birds of Paradise, the best freshly made ice cream cone in Singapore
