Canadian Supermarket Unboxing*Aside from maple syrup, what other must-buy souvenirs

One of my favorite trips to a city is to go to the supermarket!

Let’s unpack what Canadian supermarkets are selling. Apart from maple syrup, what else can you buy as a souvenir? 👏🏻

1. CANADA DRY ($3.77/six cans)
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★☆ (Canadian features but too heavy!)

Straight to the point, it says CANADA, so you must buy it. Although it is already available in Taiwan, the local ones are really amazing XD! This company has a history of more than 100 years. It emphasizes refreshing, dense and delicate bubbles. The main products are SODA CLUB and GINGER ALE. This time, buy a few cans of each to try.

SODA CLUB has a lot of bubbles but not very dense, but it doesn't choke the nose, it's not bad

GINGER ALE is translated into Chinese as "ginger ale", but there is no taste of ginger in it. It's a bit like Sprite, but it's slightly sour. I checked the Internet and found that the manufacturer admitted that there is no ginger in it! Then why XD

There are also cranberry flavors now, and sometimes there are seasonally limited flavors. If you are not afraid of being heavy, you can carry it back to Taiwan as a gift for relatives and friends

2. Kellogg's MINECRAFT creeper crunch ($10/three boxes)
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★☆☆ (not limited to Canada)

Kellogg's even released MINECRAFT cereal!! Although this is not a Canadian specialty, it is so special!

And it's cinnamon and cotton candy, buy it immediately when you see it

The real appearance after opening, why do I feel that it has nothing to do with the creeper 🤣 It’s just that the cotton candy part is green, it tastes sweet and very pigmented haha

The cinnamon in the oatmeal is very fragrant, and the wheat flavor is also very prominent, delicious~

Although it is not limited to Canada, if friends around you are in MINECRAFT, you can give him

3. ANGIE'S Salted Maple Popcorn ($4.47)
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★☆ (distinctive, but too big to take up space and fragile)

ANGIE'S is also a big popcorn brand, Taiwan Costco often appears, but I have never tried this flavor, it should be limited to Canada~

The taste of maple syrup is very light and not very sweet, but the salty taste is obvious

This is quite a big bag, if there is a seat in the suitcase, it is also a good choice as a gift

4. QUAKER Quaker Maple Brown Sugar Cereal ($8/three boxes)
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★★ (Maple syrup tastes very special)

There are 8 packs in a box

I don’t think I’ve seen maple syrup-flavored oatmeal in Taiwan. I don’t know if it’s a Canadian specialty XD, but it’s only 8 Canadian dollars for three packs! Much cheaper than Taiwan, someone in the family is used to eating cereal for breakfast or needs to lower cholesterol 🤣You can give her this as a gift

This time I only bought the maple syrup flavor. It tastes quite sweet, and the maple syrup taste is very strong. He also has these three flavors together, so you can eat different flavors at once.

5. Tim Hortons all kinds of brewed coffee, chocolate, tea bags
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★★ (Authentic Canadian famous chain brand)

Tim Hortons is a well-known affordable chain coffee shop in Canada. It sells donuts, light food, and coffee, which is a bit similar to Louisa in Taiwan.

Supermarkets sell a lot of chocolate powder, coffee powder, tea bags, etc. of this brand. This time I bought tea bags with apple cinnamon flavor ($4.87/box)

There are 20 packs in a box

The cinnamon taste is very strong but not spicy, and the apple flavor also has a light fragrance. It tastes very natural without the pungent aroma of chemical spices, and it does not contain sugar or caffeine. Now when you are old, you will be afraid of getting fat when you drink tea or coffee. I'm afraid I can't sleep XD This one doesn't have these problems, I really like it 👍🏻! After I came back, I regretted not buying more ~ Next time I have a chance, I want to try chocolate powder!

It is also highly recommended to buy this one as a gift to relatives and friends. It is a Canadian brand. It is small in size and light in size. Children and elders can find suitable flavors.

6. Dare maple syrup biscuits ($5/two boxes)
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★★ (beautiful and special, only 5 yuan for 2 boxes)

Dare foods is a well-known old brand in Canada that specializes in biscuits. There are a lot of their biscuits in the supermarket. Today I chose the most representative maple leaf cream biscuits. The price is just 5 yuan for two boxes!

There are 18 pieces in a box, and there is no single package inside. Once you open it, you have to eat it as soon as possible or it will be soft. The pressure is quite high XD

The appearance is a lovely maple leaf, and the maple syrup tastes very fragrant, rich and very sweet🤣

It is highly recommended to buy as a souvenir, it is very suitable to take to the company to share with everyone, eat a few slices with tea or coffee~

7. Peek Freans Maple Cream Biscuits ($3.27/box)
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★★ (beautiful, delicious and special)

This company was originally from the UK, but when it came to Canada, it also launched a Canadian-limited version of the maple syrup flavor.

There is also no single package inside, and it is very stressful once unpacked. There are 21 pieces in a box

The appearance is also in the shape of a lovely maple leaf, and it is more delicate and beautiful than Dare's.

It is also a cheap choice as a souvenir

8. Great Value Maple Cream Biscuits ($2.27/box)

Walmart limited
Souvenir recommendation index ★★★★★ (beautiful and special, high CP value)

The third kind of maple butter cookies! There are really many different brands of maple cream cakes. The Great Value brand is Walmart's own brand. It is cheaper than the previous two, but I didn't buy it because I couldn't finish it. I guess it should be pretty good. Let’s eat~ Next time you have a chance, try it out and compare!
