There are many different museums in Vienna. Today we went to the Kunsthistorisches Museum. Although it is not as famous as the Belvedere Palace and the Schönbrunn Palace, it has a great background. It is one of the museums with the richest collection in the world, containing various works of art and sculptures. , collectibles and paintings. You can buy tickets on the official website and use them on the same day, which is very convenient

The Kunsthistorisches Museum is in Maria Theresien Platz, opposite the Natural History Museum. It is also worth visiting. The two museums look very similar, so don’t go wrong.
The ticket booth at the entrance has very few tourists compared to other famous museums in Europe.
There are also self-service ticket vending machines inside, and the prices are the same as those on the official website.
As soon as you enter, you will see a tall and majestic hall. Unlike other museums, many museums were originally palaces and were later converted into museums, but this place was originally set up as a museum.

The numbers on the map are the works with audio guides, and the Roman numerals are the numbers of the exhibition halls.

"Tower of Babel" Pieter Bruegel

This clock is super cool! The eyes of the person in front will move, Diana's head in the back seat will turn, one of the dogs on both sides will turn its head, the other will open its mouth, and the bow and arrow in its hand will shoot out, which is a very delicate craftsmanship. But the clock is not the main function at all. In the past, the palace nobles would put it on the dining table when eating, and the person who was shot by the arrow in the end would have to drink a drink. It is basically a modern drinking game XD

Although this museum is much smaller than large museums like the Louvre, it took me 4 hours just to see the works with audio guides. There are really many collections, and the crowds are not too crowded. If you have time, I recommend everyone to spend half a day visiting this small but beautiful museum.
