Kyochon Chicken Dongdaemun No. 1 store
(WIFI X Credit CardO)
Recommendation level ★★★★☆ (It’s delicious Korean fried chicken)
Food ★★★★☆
Environment★★★★★
Price $360-480 TWD/person (15,000-20,000 KRW)
address:294 Jong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
This bridge village fried chicken has been famous for almost 10 years~ I still remember that I only found out about it when I saw my dad Lee Min Ho endorsed it. This time I came here to refresh my memory 😆
This one is next to Dongdaemun, just above KFC (Does anyone still want to go to KFC?)
The space is quite large and there are many seats
There is also a smoking room
Drinking water self-service machine
Wet wipes are thoughtfully provided on the table.
Although the menu is in Chinese, English and Japanese, it is very difficult to understand. It feels like many of them are the same products. It’s really hard to understand. It’s quite wonderful🤣
But this place doesn’t even have the classic Korean-style beer flavor! Cry!
When ordering food, ring the service bell (the waiter can communicate in English very well. If you don’t understand, it’s faster to ask directly)
The fried chicken is freshly fried, and you have to wait for a while. Corn flakes and pickled radish will be served first (it seems to be unlimited supply). The pickled radish is really the soul of fried chicken! It’s so satisfying ~ I also ordered pomegranate sparkling drink (5500 KRW) and Draft beer (5000 KRW), don’t recommend the pomegranate sparkling drink~it’s very sweet, but draft beer is more suitable!
Half boneless fried chicken with honey flavor (14000 KRW)
The long-awaited fried chicken~~12 pieces per serving. The honey flavor is sweet and fragrant, and the skin is crispy. However, the boneless chicken is a bit dry, but it is very convenient to eat.
Half bone-in fried chicken with garlic soy sauce (13000 KRW)
One portion is also 12 pieces, including chicken legs and wings. It tastes very garlicky and fragrant. The meat inside is also tender and the outer layer is thinly coated with flour. I like this taste better than the honey boneless version!
After eating~ I don’t feel as amazing as the first time I ate it, but it is delicious Korean fried chicken and the atmosphere in the store is also good. You still have to eat fried chicken when you come to Korea!! But now there are many Korean restaurants Fried chicken restaurants, you have a chance to break through every one🤣
